I started the day with a migraine today, and again had to cancell an eye doctor appointment, and went to bed with an ice pack on my head after taking medicine. I started praying the rosary, indending to pray one decade then sleep, but I kept praying longer, and asked Our Blessed Mother to show me what I should do. Then, a thought came to me, of sharing the Total Consecration with an uncle. He was my God-father as an infant, although his life has not been led in ways of holiness. We were close friends until I found out of a deep betrayal of my family, and I have been unable to speak to him other than to send him to the priest of his parish.
A good bit of time has gone by, and I am not ready to talk to him, but I realized I must send him the Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary, as he is getting on in years and may need some serious attention to his soul.
I also felt led to send a consecration package to his parish, and let Fr. R know in an email that he can expect the package for 20 participants.
I am going to put an effort into reaching out to family more fully with this wonderful devotional, and hope to begin mailing packets next month.
I can not afford much, but can I afford NOT to see to this one small task?
Our Lady will bless me in this effort, as it was her idea.
